Nexicom it is!
April 28th, 2009My last post made reference to an ISP change, and well – the speedtest results are in. I am PUMPED! Not only is Nexicom providing me with faster service, but they’re also providing me with unlimited bandwidth, no throttling and Giganews usenet access. A quick speedtest here shows the tales:
But my downloads max out at 1.5 MB/sec and uploads at 100k/sec (of which, I have done plenty of tests on over the last 12 hours). So needless to say, I plan on calling Cogeco tomorrow to say “bye bye…” They really blew this one, implementing a hard cap on bandwidth overages is going to cost them alot of customers. If you are looking for an internet service provider (ISP) in Peterborough, Ontario – look no further than Nexicom. I know I’m fresh on the Nexicom scene, but I’m feeling good about this.
