If you haven’t heard already, Megan has recently quit her job at the City of Peterborough. Why on earth would she do that? Well, she has just recently accepted a job with the Province of Ontario in the public service sector as part of the Ontario Internship Program (OIP). She’ll still be working in the HR field, but this opportunity will open a number of opportunities as well as provide some amazing career experience. It’s a garunteed two year contract with the first year most likely being in Peterborough (at the MNR, probably), and the second year could be anywhere… which would jive perfectly with me completing my Degree at this point in time next year.

Exciting times for the Hunt clan. Megan is pumped about the change, and the opportunity to broaden her horizons. She starts in the second week of June, just after Chris & Amy’s wedding. We’ll keep you posted.
